In fact, one of our focal points is restorative dentistry. But, don’t worry, we’ll make it easy for you to get the care you need. And if you are the least bit anxious, we can help you relax with one of our sedation dentistry techniques.

What Is Restorative Dentistry All About?

The name says it all really. Restorative dentistry involves the treatments we utilize to restore the function and look of missing or severely damaged teeth, whether from infection, disease, cavities, or an accidental sort of emergency situation.

You don’t have to ashamed of whatever it is you might be dealing with. Our compassionate crew has seen just about every imaginable scenario, and we are confident that we can make it better for you.

In our Plan office, there is so much we can do for you, from basic mercury-free fillings to implant-retained dentures. Each treatment aims to meet your current restorative dental needs and, obviously, your budget preferences.

What Can Be Done?

To get the ball rolling, you will want to set-up a consultation with our team so that we can put together an action plan that makes sense.

Until then, here are some restorative options to be thinking about…

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Cavities can sometimes take hold even if you have great hygiene habits in between your office visits. Cavities are not going to ruin your life, if we detect them early enough. In these situations, a dental filling should set you straight.

After removing decay and cleaning your tooth, we place a filling in the cavity to protect your tooth from further decay and infection. You’ll appreciate that we now use composite resin fillings that are mercury-free and closely match the color of your teeth.

Dental Implants

Tooth loss in your adult years is tough. It will be painful and embarrassing. It will negatively affect your look as well as your wellness. And you won’t be able to chew the foods you love. But we can help you take back your life with a dental implant.

Our dental implants are used to take the place of tooth roots to anchor an individual replacement tooth or several teeth. We usually complete the tooth restoration using crowns.

Dental Crowns & Bridges

You could end up needing dental crowns for any number of reasons. For instance, if you have ever had a root canal on a tooth, we will need to restore the tooth with a crown.

And if you break a segment of your tooth, we can restore the tooth by putting a crown on it and the crown will strengthen the tooth and help prevent the tooth from breaking down further. It is also the last piece of an implant procedure.

A dental bridge is a fixed restoration which restores missing teeth. If you are missing a tooth, we can place a crown on the tooth on either side of the missing tooth and there will be a fake tooth between them. It is all bonded together in one piece and it is cemented in place to restore your smile.

To take care of a full upper or lower arch of teeth, removable dentures are the tried and true solution. Dentures are artificial teeth set in molded plastic to fit over your gums. They are kept in place with adhesive.

We also offer implant-retained dentures as a more permanent and secure alternative to removable dentures.
