Renee

Renee is happily married and has two puppies. When she is not working at 1st in Smiles she stays busy working as a promotional model. She spends her free time socializing with her friends and family.

Shauna

Shauna, born and raised in Denton, Texas, lives the furthest away from our office and is usually the first to arrive in the morning. She has an 11 year old daughter and they spend their free time shopping together.

Shauna has been a devoted 1stINSMILES team member for over 5 years. She thanks her parents for instilling a strong work-ethic in her and her daughter for teaching her patience. "These family values help me everyday at the office."

Esther

Esther is born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She has over 10 years experience in the dental field and has been with Dr. Barfield for over 5 years. When she's not working she loves spending time with her son and daughter.

Peyton

As the Dental Hygiene Coordinator, Peyton plays an essential role in assisting each patient to encourage a wonderful experience at 1st in Smiles. Knowing and understanding treatment options, costs, insurance benefits, and duration of treatment are all key pieces of information that Peyton keeps track of to assist you in making important dental treatment decisions. She helps patients with questions, scheduling, and giving courtesy reminder calls to patients for appointments and continuing care. She spends her free time with her family and friends.

Dani

As one of the first faces upon entering 1st in Smiles, Dani enjoys helping to make sure patients feel comfortable with their dental visit and any anxieties are put to rest. She assists with scheduling patients, payments, insurance verifications, and day to day operations that help the office run smoothly. Dani is a Hawaii native who recently relocated to Dallas to be closer to her Uncle (SMU head football coach) and extended family. She enjoys writing, reading and creative activities on her down time, as well as watching football and basketball. "Smile in the face of adversity."
